In this region, find the National Park of Machalilla, with its dry tropical forest and Isla de la Plata – the perfect habitat for humpback whales and other marine mammals.
All along the coast you will find haciendas that produce coffee and tropical fruits. Additionally, the coast has magnificent beaches and rivers that are ideal for rafting.
